These dark chocolate brownies are my “THE BEST” . It’s my favorite mid-night dessert when I am craving to eat something sweet 😊.
I have tried to make brownies from boxed mix and trust me, it tastes yumm. I have created this recipe from scratch to match that taste as box mixes may not be available at many places and most importantly, nothing beats the brownies made from scratch 😊.
Brownies are very easy to make and everyone just loves them. Brownies comes in chewy form, fudgy form or cakey form depending on the texture.
Some recipes use cocoa powder instead of chocolate but I prefer to use chocolate chips or block of chocolate to make rich, moist and fudgy brownies.
Please make sure, you use good quality dark chocolate and not the compound one.
If you want to make, budget friendly brownies (as pure chocolate is costly), then you can refer my coco powder brownie recipes.
Use high quality pure dark chocolate to make this rich, moist and fudgy brownie.
This will contribute to the richness of the brownie.
This contributes to the texture and sweetness of the brownie
Please use room temperature eggs so that all ingredients will be combined properly.
Also make sure to add mixture of butter and chocolate into egg little at time and keep stirring it otherwise the hot mixture will cook the eggs.
This will be used to keep all the ingredients together.
I have used oil to create box mix like taste
Here we are making fudgy brownies. So, avoid overmixing it and mix the batter until wet and dry ingredients are just combined. For better results, avoid using stand mixer or hand mixer and mix the batter just by hand with the use of spatula.
The ingredients will be combined beautifully if you use all the room temperature ingredients.
To make extra rich, moist and fudgy brownies, make sure to use good high-quality chocolates and not the compound one. You can make the recipe replacing some amount of chocolate with cocoa-powder to make budget friendly brownies or replace chocolate with cocoa-powder.
I always suggest to read the recipe completely before starting. Each recipe is formulated in a specific way and replacing / skipping the ingredient will alter the texture and taste of final product.
It is mostly caused by overbeating the batter after eggs are added. So, avoid overbeating by replacing stand-mixer or hand-mixer by rubber spatula and mix it until just combined.
My favorite dessert is warm brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it 😊 But, you can eat them as it is.
Please allow brownies to cool down at least for 30 minutes once you remove them from oven.
Absolutely, just warm them in microwave for couple of seconds and you are good to go 😊
